About

Hello everyone!

My name is Ron Whited and I’d like to welcome you to “A Front Row View of the Church”. This blog is intended to be a source of encouragement, instruction, and information about all things related to the Church. I love to talk about the incredible things the Church is doing today, however I will not shy away from drawing attention to areas where we must do better.

I have seen the best of Christianity with people loving people, needs being met, hope restored, and lives forever changed by the power of the Gospel of Christ. When God’s people allow themselves to become the hands and feet of Jesus, real ministry happens. I think we can all agree that in times like these, the world needs to see constant reminders of God’s love in action.

I’ve also seen the Church at less than it’s best. Whether it be wolves in sheep’s clothing, legalistic rules designed to burden the souls of men, fleecing the flock, or a host of other ungodly attributes, the Church is made up of humans and as such we don’t always portray Christ as we should. We are a work in progress, after all.

My hope is that this blog will offer respite for the weary, a candle in the darkness, or simply an encouraging word to someone who is overwhelmed with life. We are all His children, and as such are commanded to love one another.

May the Lord bless you,

Ron

A great new format for a consistently biblical website, Ron! I notice you’ve closed comments on several of your posts. You can be sure, however, there’s alot of moral support behind you. Blessings, my friend.

I’ll check into that Anna. I don’t believe I did it intentionally but who knows! Thank you for your unwavering support. 🙂
