7 “The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it,
8 “if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it.
9 “And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it,
10 “if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it. Jeremiah 18:7-10 NKJV
Yes, we do have a choice in the matter. The decisions we make as to whether or not we will follow God or man directly impact whether or not God chooses to bless or bring disaster.
One thing is for certain, disaster is looming, and there is only one way to avoid it.
We as a nation would be wise to reconsider our ways lest God relent of the good he has decreed for us.

Amen!
People mock us if we warn that judgement is coming..

Yes they do because the god of this world has blinded them to the truth. Peter said the day would come when men would ask “where is the promise of His coming, for all things continue as they were unto this day”(not sure I quoted that exactly right but you get the message). We are surely living to see this fulfilled today.

It is indeed, Anna. I cannot thank God enough that I am anchored to him and not this world I live in. Blessings to you my dear friend.
